Account Deletion

Effective October 23, 2026

You can delete a Zadu account and its associated data directly in the app:

1. Sign in to Zadu.
2. Open Profile and tap Settings (the gear icon).
3. Under Account & data, choose Delete account.
4. Review the warning and enter your current Zadu password.
5. Choose Delete permanently.

Zadu first blocks new upload writes and purges active raw documents, then disconnects linked Plaid Items, removes Stripe customer records, and deletes the account, portfolio and holding data, reports, uploads, sessions, push tokens, and user-linked audit records. Access-controlled recovery bundles age out under the separate rotation described in the Privacy Policy. The action cannot be undone.

Can't access the app?

Email support@zadu.app from the address on your Zadu account with the subject “Zadu account deletion.” We will verify account ownership before processing the request.
