Who is responsible
Zadu operates the Zadu app and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Information collected
We may collect account identifiers and contact details; login and security records; age, retirement plans, household and financial information you choose to enter; portfolio holdings and balances; documents and extracted data you upload; connected-account data you authorize; subscription and payment status; device, usage, and diagnostic information; and messages or feedback you submit.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate users, display and update holdings, calculate G-Score and Garden views, run requested planning simulations, generate reports, provide support, detect fraud and misuse, maintain the service, process subscriptions, and comply with law. Where required, we will identify the applicable legal basis and obtain consent for optional processing.
Account linking, AI, and automated analysis
Authorized connections may use third-party aggregators such as Plaid. AI-assisted extraction or reporting may involve vetted service providers. Financial projections are automated estimates and can be inaccurate.
Sharing and sale of information
We may disclose only information reasonably necessary to service providers supporting hosting, account connections, document processing, AI analysis, payments, email, security, and analytics; to authorities when legally required; or in a business transaction subject to applicable safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of financial data, including access controls and encryption where implemented. No system is completely secure.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purposes, legal requirements, dispute resolution, and security. Uploaded source files, extracted holdings, audit records, and recovery copies may have different schedules. See the account-deletion instructions.
Your privacy choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or limit use of personal information, and to appeal certain decisions. You can disconnect linked accounts and request account deletion in the app under Profile > Settings > Account & data, or by emailing support@zadu.app. We will verify requests and respond within applicable deadlines.
Children and geographic scope
Zadu is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
